Position Purpose:
As a Scrum Master at our company, you will play a crucial role in facilitating and optimizing Agile processes within cross-functional teams. You will champion Agile methodologies, ensure the smooth operation of Scrum ceremonies, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a servant leader, a facilitator, and possesses strong communication skills.
Key Result Area #1: Manage Technical and Non-Technical projects using a combination of Agile and Traditional techniques and tools
- Provide visibility into capital projects at our company to the appropriate stakeholders
- Provide scope, schedule, and cost estimates and ongoing tracking against the budget
- Coordinating internal and external resources to ensure project deliverables are being met
- Provide timely updates to project stakeholders and ensure key decisions are being made
- Work cross-functionally with company resources for domain knowledge (Product, Market, and Customer) to drive project deliverables
Key Result Area #2: Resource management, and allocation
- Create products launch schedules including all activities from product development, manufacturing, training, marketing etc.
- Communicate progress and delays to Stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Guide and coach the development team in effective application of Scrum practices.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
- Empower the team to self-organize and make decisions collaboratively.
- Remove impediments and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and other Scrum Masters to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Act as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders to foster effective communication.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to team members on Agile principles and practices.
- Promote a culture of transparency, openness, and a focus on delivering business value.
- Track and report key Agile metrics, such as team velocity and sprint progress.
- Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for improvement and make informed decisions.
- Address conflicts within the team and facilitate resolution in a constructive manner.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
- PMI Certification a MAJOR bonus (CAPM, PMP or other related)
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of collaboration.
- Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Knowledge of Agile tools and practices.
- Extremely detail-oriented
Desired Qualifications:
· 1-3 years’ experience as a hands-on developer (cloud or embedded)
· 3 years’ experience as a project manager and/or Scrum Master
· Expert at JIRA
· Expert at MS Project
